I rarely enter DTAs but this one had such a cool design that I couldn’t resist! Congrats on 10k, Silvie!! :DD —————————————— ❀ Back Story ❀ Nova sat in the streets, looking at the sky and the flying birds. “Nova!” A brown tom shouted as he ran over to her. “Jax!” Nova shouted as she ran over to greet him. “I’ve been looking for you,” Jax started. “I’ve been wanting to ask you something,” Nova was intrigued to hear what he wanted to ask her. “Nova, will you be my mate?” Jax finally asked. “Of course!!” Nova exclaimed. Nova ran through the streets, following the path to the human house where her mother, Cleo, lived. She finally reached the house and went around to the backyard. Her mother Cleo was sitting on the fence. Cleo had white fur with black patterns. Cleo also had beautiful blue eyes and a neon green collar with golden spikes. “Mom!” Nova shouted. Her mother turned her head to face Nova. Nova then noticed a hint of worry in her mom’s eyes- but ignored it, hoping the good news would wash away any worry. “Nova, I-” Cleo started as Nova interrupted. “Mom! I have great news!” Cleo nodded, agreeing to listen. “Me and Jax are mates!” Nova joyfully declared. Cleo was shocked, but then that turned to anger. “Nova, no. I will not allow you and Jax to be mates.” Cleo stated. “What?! Why!?” “Jax isn’t who you think he is. He’s up to something evil-” Cleo warned. “No! Mom! He is’t! I love him for who he is! Who can’t decide whether or not me and him can be mates!” Nova argued. “Cleo, please just listen to me. I-” “No mom. I don’t want to here it. Me and Jax will be leaving this town tonight. Goodbye.” Nova finished. She then walked away in anger- leaving her mother with only worry. Nova sat at the railroad where she and Jax agreed to meet- to forever leave this town and find a new place to raise their family. “Jax should have been here by now..” Nova said to herself. “Maybe I should go look for him.” She went a bit deeper into the town until she picked up Jax’s recent sent trail. She followed the trail until she reached her mother’s humans’ house. “Why would Jax want to go to my mother’s house?” Nova again asked herself. She noticed a crack in the fence and she put her eye up to it. She saw her mother and Jax. “Jax, please..” Her mother pleaded. “I’m sorry but you know something that I can’t risk Nova or anyone finding out.” “But why? Why do this?!” Cleo cried. “I’m sure you already know the answer to that.” Jax whispered as he then ran toward Cleo, his claws out. “No!” Nova jumped out, but it was too late. Jax had killed her mother. “Nova?” Jax turned around. “Why Jax? Why did you do this?” Nova cried. “It was the only way. You don’t need her anyway.” Jax stated. Nova silently cried until words- a word came to her mouth. “No.” She said. “No?” Jax questioned. “No!” Nova shouted as she pounced on Jax. She almost bit down his throat as he kicked her away. While still in midair, Jax pounced onto her and scratched Nova’s eye. Nova had a blackout. When Nova awoke, her eye was stinging. She noticed her mother’s cold and dead body lying now far from her. “Mother, I’m so sorry.” Nova whispered. She took her mother’s collar and put it onto herself. Then she buried her mother. “I love you,”. Nova cried. As she walked through the streets, Nova noticed many cats starring at her in fear. “Why are they scared of me?” Nova asked. She next down into the River to wash her scratches she gained from Jax. Bit as she saw her reflection in the river’s water. She almost screamed. That wasn’t her eye, if it even was an eye? Nova had no time to worry and no way to find out, and so, she covered her feared eye with her long black fur.
