Description

also check out "Hurricane Recorder"! link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/119911160/ also check out making hurricanes more realistic: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/247595995/ Check out BFB Contestant Generating Game! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/252276237/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- feel here post your own seasons if you are interested or like this if you want! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- all the changes i made is adding more names, greek names, alphabetical names, how much hurricanes, and major hurricanes, and the damages. we also added rounding to hurricane speeds (in 5 mph increments) to avoid extra confusion over the NHC (national hurricane center), unless the storm is post-tropical. we also put off-season months (May and January.), and hurricane list, giving TD's a number, showing and hiding, changing track's colors, making storms stop when they hit Canada, Africa, Mexico or South America (removed), May-December (January if there's atleast 1 storm active) Also, I made storms form rarer in Feb, Mar and Apr. 2 names I added was missed for some reason. Omega is added to the Greek name list, sorry! Added ACE and crazy-warm water from Hoang's original project. Fixed misspellings on "Bard" (Brad) and "Lousie" (Louise). The mystery name "Hib" was finally fixed (it was Jon!) Names now alternate properly between male and female names. This means no more 3 female names in a row! Actually, it can happen but rare. EDIT: FIXED Lowered killed people from a hurricane. This means no Hurricane Andy killing 800 people! We also added resetting letter and numbers, in case if a storm manages to form in the January of the next year, while a existing storm manages to stay until December 31. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- things still need to be fixed and added: (E = easy, EH = medium, H = hard) H fix hurricanes may dissipate randomly and change randomly. (almost fixed) H a warning and watch system H fix unintended and missed landfalls (Landfall system removed) EH fix storms forming in land and in the Pacific H fix irregular hurricanes' tracks (fixed a little) E add more names (added Dan and Raymond) H simulate Fujiwhara effect EH eyewall replacement cycle (see https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/247595995/)
