This game took over 5 months to make, and is by far my biggest game ever, so heart, star, or following is appreciated. @GentleX , here are some things to note while judging this. There are no "if touching" blocks used in this project, it's 100% math based collisions. It has very realistic physics, using verlet integration. There was a community formed around sharing each other's save codes and helping each other out. You can go here to check it out. https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/627560/ This got on trending and top loved. It's really worth it to take some time and try to build some cool stuff, because it can be really fun. I also spent like 150+ hours on it. Finally, I guess I'm pretty underrated (I had like 30 followers only a few months ago). this has over 6.3k blocks, so use turbowarp for better graphics and no lag https://turbowarp.org/726732107?hqpen Share your save codes here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/627560 This is a sandbox/survival game built around my physics engine. You start out on a tiny raft, stranded on an endless ocean, and you have to fish for resources. (this comes in the campaign, which will be released soon). You keep upgrading your raft, until it's a raft no more, and you're a captain, having tamed the seas. I know it's a lot, but I highly recommend reading all of the instructions. This is a complicated game, but it can be a lot of fun if you know how to play. EDITOR CONTROLS -Use WASD or arrow keys to move the camera around -Use Q/E to zoom in/out -The red X is the delete button, use it to delete points -The grey circle is a weighted point, usually used to balance ships or build submarines. -The brown circle is a wooden point. It floats on water, so build most of your boat out of this. -The ladder looking thingy is a ladder (crazy, ikr). Use it in larger builds to traverse between floors. -The button under the ladder is used to fill the background of your boat. This is important because you need it to keep the water out of the inside of your boat. Use it by clicking on all of the points of the outline of your ship. -The steering wheel is mandatory to use. It's used to control motors and to pilot your boat. -The darker line is a wooden beam. The player can collide with these. Create lines by clicking on any two points. -The lighter line is a support beam. Use this to prevent your boat from collapsing. -The lightest line is a rope. This can be used for anchors, masts, and more. -The metal objects are motors. There are four different orientations of them, used to move in all four directions. These are controlled by using the steering wheel. -The load and save buttons load and save. Post your save codes in the discussion thread when it's up. -The + and - buttons also affect zoom (you're welcome, mobile gamers) -And finally, the green button is the play button. PLAYER CONTROLS: -WASD or arrow keys to move (when not driving) -WASD or arrow keys to drive your raft (when driving) -[ E ] to enter driving mode (when next to steering wheel) -Hold down the mouse and start swinging your fishing rod, then release. When it touches a fish, it will automatically return. Credits: -credit to Raft on steam for the name idea -credit to Minecraft for the inspiration for the "survival" text (it comes from the heart texture) -credit to google for music -PTE by @greedjesse -all art/code by me (and there are over 6,000 blocks) TAGS: #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #games #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #all #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #pen #100% #100% #100% #100% #100% #100% #100% #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics #physics
