Description

Laggy? Try turbowarp: https://turbowarp.org/710860818?interpolate The scrolling engine for Sonic Re-Loaded: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/805845540/ approx load time: 8 secs Art by me except for Sonic sprite and rings. To spindash hold down the down and z keys, then release the z key to spindash. If you release the down arrow key, you will do a spin leap. Gotta go fast, and gotta love that speedy blue hedgehog! In this project, I did my best to recreate the blue blur's basic physics. I don't care about having it be exact, just similar. although it's not perfect, I hope you enjoy it. You can try to turn this into a scrolling platformer or wait a few days for me to do so, (so I end up having to do all the work for you ;) and also create the best Sonic game on scratch >:) How about a ⭐️ & ❤️ if you appreciate my 'hard' work? Ok, so it wasn't that hard, but it's my first Sonic engine, so that deserves something, right? Alright- this took me 4, then some extra a couple of days after I unshared it to fix roll collisions, but over 12 hours of coding, 1000+ blocks and 1 billion glitches. It still has some collision issues when Sonic jumps, but It's nothing too serious, and shouldn't affect gameplay. I added the Spindash even though it wasn't in the original game, but I considered it important. YES, I CAN ADD THE PEEL-OUT AND DROP DASH. I just don't want to, I feel tired. Now for the credits! - @Bunnynightfan for the amazing vector Sonic costumes and Framework concept. -@griffpatch for his 'find closest space to' 'check touching solid' and 'move in steps' functions and also for teaching me slope detection and moving platforms. -@Enigmatic21 (me) for absolutely everything else. (Sadly, nobody else has ever made an accurate Sonic platformer engine, so I had to go ahead and do it myself :'( so that I can customize it into a GOOD scrolling platformer engine, more specifically the one I used in the Wanderling Demo).
