THESE ARE THE RULES FOR THIS MAP. PLEASE READ THEM BEFORE JOINING. ___________________________________________________ 1. If you've read the rules and will follow them, include "they're written in the walls" in your comment. 2. Put EFFORT into your part. And follow all the rules while you make it. 3. In addition to this, MAKE ACTUAL BACKGROUNDS. I don't want to see any plain colors or gradients. DRAW A BACKGROUND. Please. It doesn't even have to be good or anything, I don't care as long as your characters aren't in an empty void. 4. There is a COLOR THEME. Use CONTRASTING COLORS! Like blue and pink, red and green, orange and purple, etc. Kind of like the picture I made for this project! c: 5. Don't just animate a blink or a tail moving, put some ANIMATION into your part! If you must do something simple like that, do it in a unique way, or really exaggerate the motion and use squash/stretch and stuff! 6. PLEASE use your OWN CHARACTERS. (Or a friend's if it's cool with them!) Fan-characters from any fandom are fine, as long as NO OFFICIAL CHARACTERS are in your part! 7. In addition to this, your character does NOT have to be a cat or whatever. Use ANY species of character you want! 8. I will decide the deadline when all of the parts are taken. Finish by the deadline, or your part will be given to a backup. 9. DO NOT include a watermark! I will be adding them in the final video! If you must include one, make it on it's own separate sprite so I can delete it when I'm recording the parts so I can edit them together c: 10. If you are doing Part 18 (the outro) PLEASE include lots of EMPTY SPACE for me to superimpose the credits onto! (Like, have a big background and a small character. Or something like that. IDK. I'm bad at explaining lol. 11. If you are doing Part 1, PLEASE include the title "It Has Begun OC MAP" in it somewhere, OR leave some empty space for me to superimpose it! 12. If you've REALLY read the rules and will follow them, COMPLETELY IGNORE RULE NUMBER 1 and include "where the lost are the heroes" INSTEAD OF "they're written in the walls" in your comment. I'm too tired to think of anything creative or funny to make you guys say, so I just took lyrics from the song lol.
