So basically, Goomba is accused of attempted treason, and Bowser has him banished. He doesn't kill him because he secretly faked it and put a tracker on him, hoping he will go to Mario for help, so he can destroy the plumber in red. Little does he know, Goomba will embark upon a mission through the pipes of the universe, which take him to random location in the middle of nowhere, to find and resurrect the past King Koopas, who are incarcerated in their own statues. Because of Bowser's past treachery, the King Koopas will help to defeat Bowser once and for all. I know its glitchy, but I'm not really working on it at the moment Sometimes it lags. I know the storyline is very inaccurate, but I guess it doesn't have to be real. If paper and super mario are connected, that means any universe can exist :P
