Description

Current Version: 1.4.3 TurboWarp link (faster rendering): https://turbowarp.org/502702262?fps=250&turbo When on the TurboWarp version, you can press E to expand the range of the slider (you can set a custom iteration value regardless of this setting). IMPORTANT: Do not use this in fullscreen, the resolution will be degraded. Preset palettes: 1: Rainbow 2: Monochrome 3: Rainbow Monochrome (combines the two above) 4: Red Monochrome (monochrome with color enabled and set to stay as red) 5: Prismatic Lightning 6: Midnight Rainbow 7: Prismbow 8: Starlight Rainbow 9: Winterbow Display Mode options: 1: Standard 2: Smoothing Disabled 3: Deep Zoom 4: Deep Zoom with Smoothing Disabled Special Effects options: 1: Default: no change in image 2: Emboss: Texture is added to the fractal that gives it depth by making it appear to look raised from the surroundings 3: Deboss: Texture is added to the fractal that gives it depth by making it appear to look depressed into the screen (Emboss looks much better, but I still kept this as an option because some people might want it) Major Update Log: Update 1.4: Reorganized the menu and added a toggle to change between the standard Mandelbrot and 5 of its variants Expanded the interior coloring feature, making it customizable and adding a separate toggle to enable or disable it Improved brightness gradients, making them loop V1.3: Added parametrization planes! The fractal is generated the same way, but the fractal is displayed differently. There is: Normal (c, the standard fractal), Inverted (1/c), and squared (c^2). You can change the origin of the fractal, and change what the fractal looks like (I recommend -1.40115, it looks really cool when you zoom out for a while, best with higher iterations). The origin setting does not affect what the standard fractal looks like. Fixed issues Reorganized the settings menu so that it looks neater V1.2: New settings menu! You can now create your own palette in addition to the provided presets. Additionally, you can now change the starting z values to transform the fractal. (Press the three bar icon to access it, click anywhere in the grey area to close it) V1.1: Added Julia Set functionality, with all of the features. Press Space to activate, and press Space to return to your position in the Mandelbrot fractal. Added TurboWarp functionality (this just increases the iteration limit, press E to activate, do NOT use this in normal Scratch because it will take a really long time to render). You can go up to 2500 iterations (I had to decrease the limit because TurboWarp updated and reduced their FPS limit to 250, 4 times slower than the original.).

Instructions

Update 1.4.3: Improved embossing and debossing formulas to look much better and be more efficient Added Effect Strength variable Removed Shadow (effect 4), as it is similar to the new embossing formula Added new palette Renamed # of Brightness Gradients to Brightness Gradient Type and added a third option Color Enabled is now a button New variable: Palette Speed (changes the speed of the overall palette, this is not changed when loading presets) Regarding the fractal variants, you can get many more just by changing some signs and adding absolute values within the equation, as well as changing number values. For this reason, I only added 5 as shortcuts. This fractal generator uses pen only and custom blocks to increase the speed of rendering. Click anywhere to zoom in. Press R to refresh the fractal (for unknown reasons, if you want the refresh function to work after changing variables, you have to click the variables (not the slider) if you don't want to zoom in). Press the three bars icon/hamburger icon to open the settings menu.
