Description

Use WASD or the arrow keys or touch to move. Experiencing lag? Press Q to change the graphics quality, or play this on turbowarp: https://turbowarp.github.io/#411453573 I thought raycasting might improve the original project, so I threw together a quick implementation (update - a lot more work has been put into the raycaster since the initial release). This isn't the most advanced raycaster, but it has enough features to run this game well enough. Original by @griffpatch UPDATE (2020-07-14) - The raycaster has been significantly optimized UPDATE (2020-07-14) - Movement has been updated so you can turn sideways when using WASD (arrow keys still turn) UPDATE (2020-07-17) - Updated graphics UPDATE (2020-07-28) - Improved graphics, added Q to change quality UPDATE (2020-07-28) - Added a new experimental raycaster with adaptive sampling for the highest quality setting; this raycaster is faster than the others at producing detailed graphics, but currently cannot produce low-res graphics
