Getting Over It: Multiplayer SERVER 2

Description

This is a multiplayer version of Griffpatch's Scratch recreation of Getting Over It! Up to eight players can play with each other at once. IF THE GAME ISN'T LETTING YOU JOIN: 1) The game could be full - (only 8 people can play at once) 2) Scratch's servers might not be working at the moment - (there has been a lot more traffic on Scratch recently) 3) You have the New Scratcher status (you need to be a Scratcher in order to use Cloud Data or play multiplayer games) If you're a New Scratcher, you won't be able to play this game with multiplayer. To find out how to become a Scratcher, look here: https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/How_do_I_become_a_Scratcher%3F UPDATE 5/20/2020: - Added support for EIGHT players! - Added motion smoothing so other players aren't laggy - Replaced Scratch Cat with rectangle dude so players would look the same on everyone's screen - Added Safe Chat - Added offline detection - Updated rectangle dude's sprite (added a cute face and made it a little bit taller) - Fixed bug where players would flicker when on top of another player - Fixed bug where you could see old players for a second when you joined - Removed pause feature so players don't get treated as if they're offline when they aren't - Stopped the game from starting when connecting Note: This is based off of version 1.4, so some features might be missing if the original project's ever updated, and the leader board has also been removed in this version. I used some of Griffpatch's multiplayer tutorials on YouTube to help me, and I used some of the decoding and encoding scripts that he made. INSTRUCTIONS: Best played with your web browser in full screen mode (F11) to remove the title-bar - this interferes with the mouse controls when things get frantic - you'll thank me later I promise! (Q+R to reset level) Use your mouse to control Scratch Cat's hammer. Push, Drag and Throw yourself up the level in your quest to "Get Over It". Press T to use safe chat #games #multiplayer #cloud
