SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY for Scratch (2.5D Engine)

This project was developed in 2018 and originally released on Nov. 30th, 2018. If you enjoy the project, ♥ and/or ★ to show your appreciation! :) This is a Super Mario Odyssey ENGINE as of now. As the game progresses, there will be a better moveset and actual content. Want to remix? See inside for tips! Quick Instructions: (read below for more) Run - F key, mouse click, or arrow keys. Note that you "steer" yourself using the mouse pointer. Throw Cappy - Space Jump - A Pause - L Complete objectives on the SIGN to get Power Moons. Collect Power Moons by jumping. Confirm with A. Jumping off a cliff deducts 10 coins from your stash. Click the globe icon to travel between kingdoms. Click the doors/wardrobe to switch costumes. * For this game, it is recommended to have your hands in standard typing position (left pinkie on A, left ring on S, left middle on D, right ring on L, and thumbs on the space bar.) New control schemes will be implemented in a future update, including touch, standard, and CloudConnect. To move, left-click on the screen. Mario will move in the direction of the mouse-pointer. To throw Cappy using the standard throw, use the space bar. Cappy will move a fair distance forward and collect any coins he touches. To jump, press the A key. To pause the game, press the L key. In the demo version, Power Moons will appear after completing certain tasks. Not sure what to do? Run over to the green Power Moon Sign and look at the names to get a hint. When a Power Moon appears, you'll hear a distinct appearance sound and a shining ambience. Run around the level to find the Power Moon. Unlike other collectibles, you must collect Power Moons with Mario himself, not Cappy. Be careful not to run off the edge of the level! Mario will fall into the abyss and lose a life. Unlike other games, Super Mario Odyssey deducts lives by taking 10 coins (or if the player has less than 10, the remaining amount) from the coin count. In Super Mario Odyssey, there are numerous expansive kingdoms to explore. In the Scratch edition, there are 5 demo stages that you can travel freely between. To travel to another kingdom, click on the globe in the upper-right hand corner of the screen. Select one of the four other kingdoms, and you will be transported there immediately. Your Coin count, as well as all of your Power Moons, will be kept. The game also allows you to give Mario new looks. Use the wardrobe (white doors) to change Mario's costume. The styles include Wedding, Builder, Tostarenan, Holiday, and Luigi!
