Some of you might know Valorant, an Overwatch/Counter Strike like character-based shooter. I really like the game, and so I tried to recreate it in scratch. (top down, 2D) Andddd the game is released! You can play 1v3 Deathmatch now! I'm still working on a "plant the spike" gamemode so I guess the game isn't completely finished, and it can lag, but it's finished enough to be released! (technically it was already released in beta and alpha though it's just fun to call it that) KEYS: WASD - To move E - Signature ability Q - Secondary ability X - Ultimate R - Reload NOTE: I only recommend you to play in fullscreen if you have a decent computer Made by High_Digital* ***Deathmatch Instructions****************************** There are only 3 agents to choose from: Omen, Jett and Cypher (those are my favorite) and in the match, there will only be 4 characters in total. (3 enemies, and you) Yes, I made enemy AI. There is also only one gun, the Phantom. You have 4 rounds of ammo (each containing 50 bullets) once you use up your rounds, you get a knife for the rest of the round, so USE YOUR AMMO WISELY! (And remember not to reload after every shot because it's round based and not ammo based) ***Instructions for Spike Plant************************* Go to A or B site and plant the spike by pressing F, then defend the spike. It's still a work in progress so expect some bugs ***Update Log******************************************** Update 1.3.2 -Added a screen that asks whether I should add more content to the game, as I'm actually in the mood to do that now, but I'd need your opinions first. I know that can be quite annoying if you play this often, but don't worry cause it probably wont be here for longer than a week or so. Yes votes: above 10 = I will add small features above 20 = I will add better AI and gun improvements above 40 = I will add a new map above 75 = I will add more agents, starting with Phoenix and Sage. above 100 = complete game rework with more agents, more maps, better UI, and maybe, just maybe, multiplayer and more weapons. Update 1.4 -Added new map, Sector-3. Now the default deathmatch map, the default map for Spike Plant is Wisteria, the other original map :D Finally the new map! Yes votes for new content was higher than I expected, 64! So I'll keep my promise, and give you all a cool new map! Update 1.3.1 -Increased the time it takes to reload. This will make it more challenging and give you the feeling you don't have to reload after every shot. Update 1.3 Spike Plant is here! Mini Update 1.2.1 -Fixed a bug where the gun was not visible in deathmatch Update 1.2 -Working on Spike plant gamemode -There is now a yellow area to plant the Spike -You can plant the Spike, it can explode and you win -Enemies react to you planting the Spike Update 1.1 -Reduced lag -enemy AI tweaks -working on Spike plant gamemode -Bug fixes Update 1.0 -Major tweaks -Bug fixes -Reduced lag -Victory and defeat screen updated Out of Beta! It's almost a full game now. Deathmatch is basically complete. Maybe a few tweaks here and there, but for now, I think it's good enough :) Update 0.9 -Added the option for a timer in the main screen, why not. Maybe some people want to speedrun. -Removed Multiplayer option (it didn't work) -Omen got a small makeover Update 0.8 -Added more voicelines! -Added a third ability for all agents -Added a bar that shows which enemies are still alive -Added obstacles to the segments (play areas) Update 0.7 -Added a third enemy -Gave the enemies abilities -Improved enemy aiming & AI I had a lot of fun working on this update, making the game harder etc. Update 0.6 -Added Multiplayer option, for testing. -Fixed map Update 0.5 -Added a second enemy -Minor tweaks -Added a minimap -Added more voicelines for Omen Update 0.4 -Added second ability for all agents Update 0.3 -Added first ability for all agents -Added voicelines for Jett & Cypher -Created a map with multiple areas, that I like to call segments. Update 0.2 -Added a working gun -Added the first enemy (with a gun) Update 0.1 -Created the game! -Made agent top-down costumes to play as -Made it so you can walk around -Made a menu (It looks pretty cool if I do say so myself)
