Instructions
COOLER VERSION: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/824598462/ Turbowarp is recommended, but not mandatory: https://turbowarp.org/364178177?hqpen Every few days, if you post a save code in the discussion thread, it will have a chance of being the featured demo for a while. Paste your save codes here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/618778/ Community demo #1 by @ClockIsCool Community demo #2 by @Code-Magic123 Community demo #3 (current) by @Somebodierish CONTROLS: -Press [ r ] to reset the simulation -press [ space ] to toggle variables -The [ + ] and [ - ] buttons let you zoom in and out -The [ X ] button lets you delete points when you click on them -The [ L ] button is for loading. Paste your save code or even use someone else's. -The [ S ] button is for saving your progress. Triple click the list and copy it. Feel free to share your codes in the comments or in the discussion thread above. -Use the sliders to move the camera around -The triangle is the play button, to start the simulation -The back arrow returns you to editing mode -The red point is a point that doesn't move around at all -The grey point is a point that can move around -The brown segment is a line that can be connected to points by clicking on both. It doesn't collide with the ball. -The grey segment is the same as the brown, but it does collide with the ball. -The orange segment is a piston. It can be placed down like a road, but it extends and de-extends constantly. -The blue segment is a spring. Place it down like you would with a road, and it's springy. -The green ball can be placed down only once, and will fall unless it hits a grey line. This is a demo of a physics engine that uses verlet integration. If you want to know more about it, check out @GonSanVi 's explanation here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/636061582/ As of now, it's still unfinished, and the ball collision to the lines is glitchy and might break a lot. Here are some ideas of what to make: -a truss bridge -an elevator -a suspension bridge -a slingshot Features coming I'm planning on adding: - springs - 100% done - ( thanks, @iaobardar ) - pistons - 100% done - multiple objects - 60% done - save/load codes - 100% done - better camera control - 100% done - better demo screen - you guys do it I'm tired - better sounds - 20% done I just hit 200 followers, so heart, star, commenting, and following helps me know that you enjoy this type of thing! 3,104 blocks, and only 1 sprite!
