Description

USE THIS COMPILER TO RUN THIS BOSS FIGHT: https://sulfurous.aau.at/~sulfurous/#167602980 Based on The Touhou Project (Touhou is owned by ZUN and Shanghai Alice not me. Plz check out the original game: Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil) This is a recreation/compilation/remix of the Flandre Scarlet bossfight in EoSD. There are spellcards from Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil, Fantastic Danmaku Festival, Lotus Land Story (Mobile), Shoot the Bullet, and some made by me. This is a pretty ambitious project, and will probably take a few months to years to complete, but you can play it at any point in time, it just may have more spellcards in the future. I plan on implementing 44 spellcards (original had 9). There is a list of all 44 planned spellcards in the stage script if you are interested. Planning on revising score system to work like normal touhou games with point item value Music used: U.N. Owen Was Her Sepette for Her dBu Music ~ The Centennial Festival For Magical Girls Might add Rin Satsuki. Maybe.

Instructions

USE THIS COMPILER TO RUN THIS BOSS FIGHT: (If you play on Scratch, it won't work) =================================================== Simple Explanation: WASD/Arrow Keys to move around Space to 'focus' or aim better and move more precisely. E or X to bomb C or Q to release (flash bomb) when your graze bar is full P to toggle particles (Off by default) H to toggle accurate hit detect (calculates hit detection every step) (On by default) If disabled, may cause glitches. Q + R to quick retry You automatically shoot You lose a life if you are hit at all. Try not to lose all your lives and beat the boss Boss Bar is the white bar on the top of the screen Graze Bar is on the side of the screen You have a very small hitbox (the glowing red/blue ball in the center of your character) (Also, whenever you hear a clicking noise, that is a graze. It basically means a near miss and gives you score) Your power is how fast you shoot Collect powerups to increase power, life, and bombs Red: Power Green: Bomb Pink: Life Support characters give you certain buffs depending on which one you use. The top one is A, the middle is B, the bottom is C. Ex: Reimu C would be Reimu main, Yukari support =================================================== Advanced Explanation Spellcards are the big attacks (The name appears before the attack) You get 1 life piece (1/3 life), 1 bomb, and 15 power for beating them and you get a big bonus for beating them (Spellcard Capture) without losing a life or using a bomb. You lose 10 power per death, but can get 5 back. You also loose 25% of your release bar when you die. If you get hit, you have a small window to bomb (not release) without dying. This deathbomb timeframe depends on how many bombs you have. The score at the end depends on many factors: lives remaining, bombs remaining, how much time you spent, damage dealt, bullet clears, spell card captures, power, etc. Spectator Mode: Space to Skip Shows Shots and Average Shots per Second (A SPS) =================================================== Can you beat my high scores?: 292,272 (on Lunatic, Reimu C) 410,421 (Hard, Marisa C, I should probably nerf her. Literally ended with 11 extra lives) or 389,286 (Reimu C)
