feel free to ask me ideas or critique some things that could use some changing or optimization! inspired by @joey_gonzales' Kinetix project, Galaga, and @griffpatch's Lemonoids - NOTES - - text may and CAN warp positions depending on what font your browser has set certain fonts to. - leaderboard isn't cloud and is just made up names, so don't expect to see someone else's name on it (this also means refreshing the page resets it, so be wary of that too!!!) (only thing cloud is the WR!) - CREDITS - Ka-Blooey (SNES) for some music/jingles F-Zero (SNES) for one single jingle Toy Story (Genesis) for one single jingle various Sonic & GENESIS games sfx superjet spade for the remix of shiru's space standart AJR for something really stupid that i hid in the project Parappa for some sfx (which i modified) Ring Racers for some sfx Pixabay for some sfx Annalynn (the game) for the pause jingle john tay for a single music track SMB series for some jingles - TAGS - #ourgh #games #all (dunno, just testing)

EVERYTHING HERE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN THE FINAL BUILD, THIS WAS ONLY PUT OUT SO I COULD SEE FEEDBACK AND CRITICISM FOR ANY PROBLEMS, BUGS OR CHANGES THAT WOULD HELP IN THE FINAL GAME. !! -- BASE CONTROLS -- wasd - move j - shoot k - roll/back l - activate power enter - pause/start/select ...you can change these in the settings menu under the keybinds category. -- GAMEPLAY -- go through multiple rounds and waves of enemies, trying your best to destroy as many enemy ships and bosses as possible! -- DIFFICULTIES -- there are 4 difficulties (and a secret 5th one if you do something correctly...) to choose from! pick NOVICE if you are a beginner, AMATEUR to play as the regular, ADVANCED for a little extra challenge and EXPERT for a thrilling experience -- ENEMIES -- - REGULAR (5HP) this red ship shoots bullets after a short while, and slowly moves down the screen. - SHIFTER (3HP) this blue ship swerves from the left to the right, moving slowly down the screen. - BULLET (3HP) this green ship slowly hones towards the player's position. - RANGER (2HP) this purple ship moves slow down the screen and blasts a large laser towards the player's direction. - BOUNCER (5HP) this orange ship bounces around the screen slowly, and spawns randomly rotated. - GHOST (5HP) this dark blue ship turns mostly transparent after a short period and can be hard to spot. - TURRET (3HP) shoots a long and unbroken streak of bullets towards the player. moves slowly down the screen. -- POWER-UPS -- - HEALTH gives 15 extra hitpoints. - SPREADSHOT spreads the player's shooting range by two extra diagonal bullets. - BOMB every bullet is given more blast range! bullets are a bit slower than usual, as well as their fire rate. - BEAM gives the player the ability to shoot a large, wicked beam to destroy any enemy with! - SCORE MULTIPLIERS boosts your score by double (x2), quintuple (x5) or decuple (x10)! - COMBO FREEZE freezes the combo for a short time - perfect for stacking up large streaks of cascading combos! - SUPER SPEED makes you move faster - but also makes you fire at a faster rate too! - INVINCIBILITY stay invulnerable and untouchable with this power! - ROLLERBLADE activating your roll and touching enemies hurts them! clear out rows with a single swoop! - POWER HEALTH gives 25 extra health. -- OPTIONS -- - SOUND & MUSIC adjust audio volumes. - STYLE this isn't mono or stereo, but applies small changes or adds totally new jingles, sounds, music to some tracks and sfx. you may need to restart the project to get it working, or having a new track play works too. - LDM (LOW DETAIL MODE) best used on low-end/weak laptops with very little power. this can also just help remove clutter such as ship debris, but makes effects and gameplay much more blander. - KEYBINDS adjust certain inputs for actions. - LASER (ORIGINAL) - gives you the base wavy laser. (SIMPLE) - the base laser but straightened out. - HUD (ORIGINAL) - gives you the base HUD/UI. (ARCADE-LIKE) gives you a more arcade-y HUD/UI.
