Description

==NOTE TO REMIXERS== DO NOT remix your project to save a maze that you created, as that won't work. If you want to save your maze, press Y in the editor to obtain the code. ==UPDATE NOTES== v3.0.2 This update will fix some more critical issues that I missed due to poor playtesting skills. - The preview elements now change each second if their respective random option is chosen. - Fixed the ready text being incorrectly positioned in random mazes. - Fixed Gamemode and Game Style not changing with the random settings. - Fixed certain random settings not changing between levels. - Fixed ghosts being stuck in Scatter Mode after losing a life. - Fixed errorneous Power Pellets appearing when choosing Random Mazes while the preview is showing large enough mazes. - Punky no longer lays dots when frightened or eaten. - Punky will now stop dashing when going through a tunnel - Fixed Frightened Ghosts not being animated (This bug emerged last update, big whoops) - Pac Man World menu themes are re-exported to be in smaller file sizes v3.0.1 Turns out there were a couple of issues that needed dire fixing. My bad • Fixed Inky leaving the ghost house immediately at level 1 • Fixed ghost flickering being offset between ghosts and reworked the whole system to be more accurate • Reduced the volume of menu music songs. Though they are now mono however. • Fixed the Preset setting for Pac Man Plus erroneously showing “Game Style”

Instructions

USE TURBOWARP, IT'S MUCH BETTER THAN SCRATCH! ==CONTROLS== W, A, S, D or Arrow Keys - Move the player. Space - Ability (Can be set in the menu) ==LINKS== SCRATCH FORUM https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/685774/?page=1#post-7249301 TURBOWARP https://turbowarp.org/795231614 ==ABOUT== Pac-Man Scratched isn't just another faithful recreation of Pac-Man, this classic recreation has more content built into it! You can play in multiple different mazes, including Pac-Man's Park, Ms. Pac's Quadrants, Atari Alleyways and Watcher's Way. You can also make your own mazes with the Maze Workshop! There are also 6 playable characters, those being Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, Crazy Otto, Atari Pac and Pac-Mom. There are also various options you can use to customise your experience. Change them up and see how differently the game plays with them. ==HOW TO USE THE MAZE WORKSHOP== The Maze Workshop is accessible through the Maze selection menu, where you can import a maze or leave that field blank to start a new project. Then to switch between the Editor and Play modes, press R. To start building your maze, you use your mouse to draw the tiles onto the maze. To choose which parts you want to use, look at the row of categories on the bottom, then press the corresponding key to select that tile. The categories are as follows: 1 - Walls 2 - Edges 3 - Corners 4 - Fills 5 - Dots, Pellets and Ghost house-related objects. 6 - Special tiles. (Invisible walls, walls that restrict ghost movement, but not yours and tiles that slow ghosts down.) Q - Eyedropper tool. Hover over the tile you want to pick, then press Q to pick that object. E - Eraser The top bar contains some important stuff too, which are as follows: R - Playtest the maze. When testing, there's a small icon on the top left showing you can press R to enter Editor mode. T - Maze settings. You can edit the colour, spawns and maze size here. Y - This reveals a maze code. You can paste it somewhere if you want to save your work for later or copy that code and share it to others so they can play (And edit) your maze. No remixing needed! Happy building!
