The Mandelbrot Set

Description

The Mandelbrot set is a set of points discovered by Benoit Mandelbrot. It iterates points through the equation: x=x^2+c (c is the starting seed) It plugs x back into the equation, until it either loops or spirals off to infinity. The set contains the points which stay below infinity.
