Description

GeoClock (Geometry Clock) is a clock that plays music and displays geometric patterns in sync with the passage of time. Questions and feedback are welcome and encouraged! The font used is Inter from Google Fonts. Certain aspects of the design have been borrowed from the Uniqlock screensaver, which was available as part of Uniqlo Screensaver from 2009 to 2017. This project uses music by Fantastic Plastic Machine, originally composed for the Uniqlock screensaver. Fun fact: because there are 8 tiles on screen, each with 10 possible shapes to display, there are 100 million possible patterns that can appear on screen at any time. If you count tiles that are hidden behind the outer frame and the banner in the middle, that number goes up to 1 nonillion.

This is to ensure that the music lines up with the ticking of the clock, as Scratch only allows music to be played from the beginning.
