BTW, I love how I asked for people to remix this project and over 100 of you ignored me. --- Scratch Cat has played and completed both Materialize 2 and Scratchnapped Ultimate. He arrives at the Giant Pixel Museum to receive his award, but then he realizes that something’s out there, demolishing everything in its path. Following the events of Scratchnapped Ultimate, it is once again up to Scratch Cat to stop the villain, whoever it is, and save Scratchland! Hey, guys, this is my second recreation of @griffpatch’s “A Scratchnapped Adventure.” Please don’t think I stole from him or collaborated, I used credit for everything in this project made by him, and I’ve been wanting to make a remake of his project for a while now. This is my second remake, this being the sequel to my first. ★★★ CONTROLS ★★★ Computer/PC: Arrows keys or WASD to move Double-tap of hold up or W to double-jump after unlock P to pause game Mobile: Use the joystick to move Hold the joystick up to double-jump after unlock ★★★ TIPS ★★★ If you get hit after landing on enemies, next time try landing directly on or jumping over it. That can sometimes happen. If you get held back to the first part of Level 1 after completing it and failing on the second part, you probably skipped the checkpoint. And to follow up on the story, play Part 1 first: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/639155621/ ★★★ LIVES ★★★ You will of course start out with nine lives (cats have nine lives), and you can collect enough coins or pick up power-ups (?) to earn lives (max lives is 15). But be careful — once you run out of lives, it’s game over! ★★★ FEATURES ★★★ I also added more features that weren’t in the original game (not a full list): - Enemies - Checkpoints (finally) - 3 OST (original sound tracks) - Fixed bugs - New details may reduce performance that can be improved on TurboWarp (see link below) - You can use stickers to express yourself! (Computer only, details below) ★★★ DEATH ROUTES?! ★★★ I also made new death routes, inspired by Crash Bandicoot. You must reach the death route without any deaths in certain levels to unlock it. If you complete it, you unlock a bonus! If you die, you’ll get another chance if you’ve already visited the death route. After you’ve collected the bonus, report back to where the route started. Please note that you MUST get the checkpoint before you enter the route. And don’t die, just backtrack. By the way, the death routes don’t seem so hard, even though they are. It’s all about timing. It took me quite a lot of attempts to complete the death route in Level 2. ★★★ TRIVIA ★★★ - I started working on the first level of the first game on February 7, and I started working on this game’s first level on March 7. - This is the first time I have made two remakes of a single game. - Scratch Cat’s y position for the first platform in the first level is -9 for both games. - I had to use two separate voice maker websites to voice Scratch Cat. The first was Notevibes Convertor, and the second was voicemaker.in. - This is the first platformer I have ever made to have special routes in a level. - The first game had four levels, but this one had three because of performance, but at least the levels are lengthy. - There is a special number that can be found in the credits if you completed the game. Type it in the comments if you spot it. ★★★ REMIXING AND PERMISSIONS ★★★ This game is licensed to and through Scratch under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 license, says the Terms of Use. Unauthorized copying and distribution of this work goes against Scratch rules (remixing is okay).
