Level 19 is considered to be the peak challenge that a human can realistically conquer. 'Bombs' is the secondary unit for difficulty, in which 10 explosives are the equivalent of 1 bomb. 1 being hardcore (kinda plausible), 2 being inhumane, 3 being fun-to-watch but not fun-to-play, and 5 being torturing. (Levels with difficulty of 1 bomb and below are honestly just a matter of time and consistency. The ones beyond require a higher skill set and a deep understanding of the game’s momentum control.) Besides, there's another in-depth difficulty rating system set, with a unit called Agro (a). That difficulty system will be utilized in the description of levels in speedrun.com leaderboards. (!!! Definitely can be ignored, as it's only for internal difficulty estimation and speedrunning tendency selection purposes) ★★★ CONTROLS ★★★ (with parts from Griffpatch) • Arrow Keys to run, jump & crouch • Wall Jump - by touching a wall and pressing 'up' • Spikedge - land on the very edge of the platform to avoid the spikes • Side Jump - click the opposite arrow key, and then jump + the original side of the wall • Fall Jump - Drop down a ledge without jumping, lean on a wall, click the opposite arrow key, and then jump. • Litejump - Do a micro-jump, crouch after you jump over a semi-tile, hold right, and release the jump. • Stick to the ceiling - by holding up • Q + R - to quickly restart the level (You'll lose your checkpoint progress though.) ★★★ UPDATES ★★★ 6 Feb 2022 - Initial Release: Absurd Appel v.1.0 9th May 2022 - Release of L10.
