They must fight through many Badniks in a unique 3-lane runner where they must be careful of which direction they move to defeat Badniks and re-retrieve the Chaos Emeralds! -------------------------Important Notice------------------------- Although I was going to make levels for every Classic Sonic game, I ended up deciding to make a sequel because it would be easier to make a new project with more optimizations than try and optimize this to make room for new levels. More info on the upcoming sequel to come! ---------------------------What's New!----------------------------- Latest Update: Ver. 1.2.3: 3/14/24, Happy π day! -Made some changes to the story in the tutorial/story -Reworked menu animations & added menu SFX -Menu animations are now altered by the mobile controls toggle to make them look good with the weird way Scratch handles touchscreens -Fixed 2 major bugs I could've sworn I already fixed several times (guess I forgot to push save?): --Mobile controls now work in stages with water (mobile users can finally get past Labyrinth Zone!) --Fixed typo where both the Save and Load buttons said "Load data" (now you can actually use save data!) -Fixed minor menu-related bugs -Added infinite loop check for corrupted save data codes -Added "auto save" feature that automatically saves and gives save data code upon stopping the project -Added new loading screen featuring mini-sonic Latest Major Update: Ver. 1.2: Date not Recorded -Revised Story/Tutorial. -Yet another new movement system that was made due to bug fixing and balancing reasons. It feels a lot faster! -Way better menus. And I thought I made the last update's UI look better... -Boss Rush is available! The true final challenge. -The final levels and boss were made slightly easier and save data was made better allowing for a more enjoyable experience! -Several features that were not clarified enough in game are now explained better. ------------------------------Credits--------------------------------- Most Images and Sound: Sega and others who made official Classic Sonic sprites and sound.
