Instructions

Version 0.6.4 is out, so check out this project as well: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/946353276 This is v0.2.0 The low version number is due to the fact that it was invented as an image manipulation program, and not just as a simple image editor. (like GIMP or Photoshop.) So the acronym stands for SimiA Studio's Image Manipulation Program. Probably it never will be a real image manipulator, because creating such things ain't so easy. But the goal would be that. ❗⚠❗WARNING!! It doesn't support cellphones! Please try to watch it on a bigger device (that has a keyboard), if you're here on a mobile. ❗⚠❗WARNING!! This project's meant to be compiled via TurboWarp. https://turbowarp.org/633000513 I also recommend playing it with High Quality Pen enabled and in higher stage size: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- https://turbowarp.org/633000513?hqpen&stuck&size=640x360 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (After changing the size of the stage don't forget to press Ctrl+Home, because that could reset the align of the side-tabs.) (TurboWarp reasons: It's simply slow on scratch, and also scratch cannot sense the pressing of control, shift and other useful keys, which are needed for the best user experience :)) ❗⚠❗Pls read the instructions below! (Because the program is quite complicated yet.) ▶ This is just a pixel image editor yet, so there isn't much manipulating option, but I'm working on it. The current features are: -you can save the image now, and also load in your savecodes (Shift+S, Shift+L) - multiple languages are available (click on the gear icon at the left tool-palette, or just press Shift+P, that leads you into the Settings page (more customizability (huh...) will come soon.) - there are over 5 tools that you can use now. (You can't use the crop tool, and the select tools, sorry :(, they are just there, and do nothing.) - it supports alpha channel (transparency) too - you can resize the image (Press Shift+V for that) - editable colour history palette on the left tab (hold [-] while clicking on them to delete the colour tiles from the history) - resizable tabs (just hover over their borderlines, and drag them away to another position, if a double arrow appears) - Layers will come soon ▶Controls & Instructions: You can interact the image by using tools. The tools can be found at the upper part of the right tab. Each tool has it's own function, so it's important to check them before clicking randomly. The tools have also some attributes (right bottom corner) which can be configured by dragging the sliders. The tools also have features with pressing the contro or shift key while using them. =Pencil= [N] ↳You can replace pixels completely with this tool. ↳The shape of the tool is always a square. ↳This tool is good for editing low-resolution pixel images (i.e. for pixel art) ↳The force attribute has no effect on it (just the size) ↳With Ctrl: picks the selected pixel's colour ↳With Shift: draws a line from the last clicked place to the selected tile =Paintbrush= [P] ↳Works almost(!) like a real paintbrush ↳The shape is a circle ↳With Ctrl: picks the selected pixel's colour ↳With Shift: draws a line from the last clicked place to the selected tile =Zoom tool= [Z] ↳Zooms in or out the work area (In version 0.1 it was a a bit more developed, but I unfortunately spoilt it, but I promise that I'm gonna (try to) fix it) =Colour picker= [O] ↳picks the colour of a selected tile ↳With pressing the control key it picks the colour without any alpha channel =Eraser= [Y] ↳Changes the alpha channel (transparency) of the pixels beneath, while they keep their actual colour (rgb channel) ↳Normally it makes them more transparent (hide the pixels), but with pressing the control you can make them "appear". =Bucket fill= [B] ↳Fills the similar colours next to the selected pixel ↳The size changes the threshold! (I was just too lazy to replace the size text) =Other controls= [Hover over]: to select the tile (pixel) [Click]: to replace the selected tile, with the selected colour (i.e. paint :)) [+]: save the image into samples [0-9]: load in from the saved samples [H]: show colour history (from there you can copy the hex code too) [Shift+C]: changes the selected colour. Paste here acolour code (for example #babafa00 (this is a hex code, not a tag!), or FADED, or simply just a dash and see what happens) [Shift+R]: centre image [WASD/←↑↓→]: move around [Mouse wheel up/down]: zoom in/out [Shift+Z]: set the tile's size to a specific number [T]: to show coordinates (And there you can also change (just hold the T key) thedraw_type, the pen_size, and the speed of the scrolling) ❗If clicking on items stops working, restart the project, or try hovering on several buttons.❗ ▶And then have fun! ▶Thank you, for viewing it, and if you liked the idea, please love, and fav
