Description

UPDATE: This version is obsolete. This is the new updated version that fixes many problems with this build. Also has MIDI Import... somewhat https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/603901091/ This is the newest MIDI player I made, it's horizontal renderer, but it can potentially work vertically as well. 208,509 notes in this project, the same MIDI file I used in my previous projects. I'm working on another MIDI though so it won't be the same thing over and over again. The hard limit for how big a MIDI can be in this renderer to be in scratch is roughly 250k notes. I made a million note version of this song but it causes the project.json to reach 8MB. I have yet to figure out a compression method. The features of this modded player include: ✔ More Tracks ✔ Optimized Rendering ✔ More Note Allocation ✔ Modifiable Visualization (done in editor) ✔ Epic Crash Notes ✔ Less LAG! This renderer actually has 2 song files, the visuals and the audio. Scratch doesn't like processing lots of events in an instance, so only the visualizer reads the visual song file, which contains the 208,509 notes while scratch only processes the audio file in generating audio. Release 1.0 The MIDI File was converted from Lataliat's Modified Format to a new MIDI format I made which allows all events to be in a single list. It also makes it easier to calculate the number of notes in the MIDI file without too much processing.
