Description

All credit for the original game goes to Namco. This is based on the original but is not an exact copy - it's meant as a homage to an absolute classic. The play area is 224x288 to give it the same dimensions and aspect ratio as the original arcade game. Note that it now defaults to a scaled-up 280x360 display but has a zoom on/off button to allow the original unscaled version to still be played. If you experience lag, try it here: https://sulfurous.aau.at/#268499692 To do: - Last four challenge stages (if I can find information about them) - Transforms (scorpions, etc) Insane theme music - Mad Scientist from Soundimage.org #retro #arcade #games #galaga #description(Galaga was released in 1981 by Namco. It was seen as a sequel to Galaxian and has a massive fan base. It's a game that I've very much enjoyed playing so I tried to make this version as faithful to the original as possible.)
