Welcome to Windows XP Simulator, a recreation of the operating system right on scratch. Almost everything was ripped from a virtual machine. (WORKS BEST IN FULLSCREEN) ___________________________________________ *NEW* Check out Windows 2000 Simulator - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/384765648/ ___________________________________________ Windows 7 Simulator - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/236363429/ ___________________________________________ How to use ___________________________________________ Click the start menu to access most of your programs Move windows by simply clicking and dragging on them If the windows look weird, click on them so they go on top App's in full screen will close all other apps ___________________________________________ Change log (Version 13.2) ___________________________________________ 7/2/18 - Released 7/4/18 - Cleaned up clutter from apps 7/28/18 - Programs now show in taskbar 8/9/18 - Added 2 new programs (half life 3) (virus) 8/10/18 - Fixed bugs and improved stuff 8/11/18 - Added "run" in start menu 8/12/18 - Added the program "camera" 8/13/18 - Made the start menu better and cleared unnecessary clutter from apps, bug fixes 8/15/18 - Bug fixes 8/17/18 - Updated the boot screen, added the "Maze Adv" program (doesn't work yet), and fixed a bug. 8/18/18 - Made it super stable, removed maze game, made fullscreen apps work much better. 8/19/18 - Added windows defender and notepad to the start menu. Theres now "All programs" in the start menu, which is were you can find the program "virus" at now. 8/22/18 - You now have to hover your mouse over "all programs", Added a refresh button, added the option to change key delay in notepad, fixed bugs. Super stable now. 8/23/18 - bug fixes 8/26/18 - Added 3D Space pinball, moved half life 3 to all programs, made the start menu more even, and more bug fixes. 8/29/18 - Added cosmetic changes and bug fixes 9/1/18 - The most stable update yet. Fixed volume issues and much more stuff. Using it will be much better. 9/3/18 - Made the key delay longer and made the internet popup in front of the battery. 9/8/18 - Mainly cosmetic changes, made the application buttons on sprite, the volume looks better, and apps look better (paint, recycle bin). 11/23/18 - Enlarged the taskbar. Recycle bin icon now gets highlighted and you have to double click to open. Made apps clearer when not in fullscreen and "this is a simulator" message is now a balloon. 11/23/18 - Bug fixes 2/23/19 - END OF SUPPORT, there will be no more updates to this project.
