##HOW TO PLAY## WASD to move; dodge the lasers! ## ## I created collision checks for the moth, or Scubbies, sprite. She will not be allowed to move in advance of a certain position, such as into a wall. The same goes for airlocks, provided they aren't in their open stage. Otherwise, she can move to any other unprotected set of points. Turrets consisted of an outer shell, which graphically covers them when they're not in use, and the actual turret is used to detect if Scubbies is in shooting distance. If she is, an invisible laser will become visible and then chase her to her last XY coordinates. The nuke operates on a timer, provided that Scubbies is in the red room. It plays a bomb sound and stops the game when its timer has run down. A global timer runs down on the nuke to set how long the player, Scubbies, must survive. Once it reaches zero, the ship "lands" by changing the background to an alternate version where it has settled onto a station. Afterwards, the bottom airlocks open to allow Scubbies to get some fresh air. Moth clothes not included. Screaming option implemented, kudos to whoever finds it... Assets borrowed from the Hippiestation 13 codebase, from the non-knockoff version of Space Station 13.
Instructions
WASD to move! The simple AI aboard the emergency shuttle will tell you two things: to avoid getting shot at by the lasers, and that the red room is temporarily safe, as long as you don't run its countdown to zero, that is! Click airlocks to open then, assuming you're directly in front of them, and survive until the ship lands!
