Description

Halving radius makes it spin 4X faster (angular velocity varies with inverse of radius squared), if same mass, just compressed. If Earth shrunk to half its radius, but with same mass (density increases 8x cuz volume is 1/8th the original), the day would be 4x shorter. But if we instead assume constant density, mass decreases with volume and halving the radius results in 32X the spin speed, a day would be 32x shorter. (To simplify, sphere of radius 100 has mass of 10000) Used my old golden angle sphere of Fibonacci spirals. Adjust color and tilt for new views of those spirals

Instructions

Adjust radius. Try Earth or dots. What happens to spin speed (angular velocity)? Try radius of 100 and radius 50, see speeds for both. Then try the same with constant density turned on (set constant density? to 1). See the difference in spin speed.
