---INSTRUCTIONS (Read all of it!)--- - STARTING THE GAME: The New Game button will automatically start a game from Night 1. The Continue Game button will start the game from the last Night that you played. Press one of those buttons to begin. - MUTE CALL: Pressing the "Mute Call" button in the top left of your screen will mute Phone Guy's call. However, if this is your first time playing FNaF, I highly recommend listening to what he has to say. - THE MONITOR: Hovering your cursor over the white bar at the bottom of your screen will open the monitor. While the monitor is open, click on the cameras to view animatronics and rooms. On Cam 11, there is a button reading "Wind Up Music Box". Keep that wound up by clicking and holding your mouse to prevent one of the animatronics, the Puppet, from escaping. - THE FLASHLIGHT: The flashlight is an item that you have that has its own independent power supply. Press the SPACE key to turn the flashlight on. Activating the flashlight while looking at cameras will allow you to see something (or someone!) on the cameras that you might not normally be able to see in the dark. The flashlight is one of your best defenses against the animatronics. For example, shining the flashlight at Withered Freddy will "stun" him and lock him in place for a random amount of time. Flashing your light (i.e. spamming SPACE) at Withered Foxy while he is in the hallway will force him away from your immediate area and will protect you from his jumpscare. However, other animatronics (such as Golden Freddy) will actually attack you if you use the flashlight on them, so be careful where you point that light! - THE FREDDY MASK: The Freddy Fazbear mask is the only other defense that you have at your disposal. Putting on the Freddy Mask while an animatronic is in your office or in a vent will protect you from their jumpscare. To put on/take off the Freddy Mask, hover your cursor over the red bar at the bottom of your screen, and do the same to take it off. Be warned, however: Withered Foxy will not be fooled by the Freddy Mask and putting it on in front of him may result in an immediate and unstoppable jumpscare. Remember to flash your flashlight at him should he appear in the hallway. - POWER: Unlike FNaF 1, the things requiring building power (Cameras and Lights) cannot run out of power. However, your flashlight can, so try not to use it too often otherwise the battery will run out and you won't be able to use it anymore. - VENTS: Certain animatronics attack you via the vents rather than the hallway. In addition to being able to see an animatronic in the vents with the vent lights, you can also hear them by listening for audio cues. - LIGHTS: Pressing the light buttons will allow you to view the vents and see if an animatronic is there. -GAME END: You win by reaching 6 am on the fifth Night (no sixth Night, sorry). If you die, press the Green Flag again, but remember to press the Continue button to keep playing from the Night that you died.
