Instructions

Start-up: Turn residue heat removal to 0 Use control rods to set neutrons to around 500 (or use auto neutron [recommended] ) When at 500 set control rods to 70 Wait for above 100 temp and below 300 Auto A3-5 Heavily recommended Turbine run-up: Wait for pressure to be around 300 PSI ,Set turbine power to 60 Wait until around 650 rpm Use Auto RPM to stay at 650 Auto RPM may cause turbine trip so manually is recomended Standard operating: Set temp to around 600 Set RPM to around 2000 to 2750 Shutdown: turn off all autos Turn RHR to 2 Turbine power 0 Pressure release on Control rod -100 wait till 0 neutrons Control Rods -70 Wait till 21 C Turn RHR to 1
