Q: Favorite thing about being a (co)leader? A: the get to know you questions chain right after leaders are chosen. thats probably my favorite swc tradition Q: Would you want to be a SWC host some day? A: in theory yes (i have opinions) in practice no (i don't have time or motivation and also i don't want to have to choose leaders bc no one wants to lead contemporary so who really deserves to lead :/// (also i just dislike choosing leaders)) Q: What does SWC stand for? (silly question) A: so what crab (slay with contemporary) Q: Give me a daily idea. A: write one of those poems where you read it and then you read it backwards come up with cabin theme for contemporary so that you can propose it in your leader app! A: oooooooooohhhh - cabin wars my first session i warred horror (which was like super op) and then i removed myself from my cabin so that they couldn't get revenge. and then they did anyway but it was silly - spost heculation march 2021 - the three word lyric chain with robin after march 2020 - betrayals in march 2021 were crazy - also i just loved the session i led the daily team - also working on the memory book in july 2020 i had so much fun Q: Do you procrastinate, have an abnormal sleep schedule, and/or an obsession with Taylor Swift? A: ummm the first two Q: Favorite nickname you've seen in SWC? A: so i think that re and fi need to find someone named al and then they can all lead realfi together (how to choose coleaders) Q: What's your favorite SWC cult that you've seen or been in? A: i have no idea Q: Have you ever stayed up late for SWC? A: i pulled an all nighter for cabin wars on july 10/11 2020! would not recommend i felt sick afterwards so i went to bed around 8am and woke up at 2. but i do have pretty photos from that morning :) Q: What's your favorite part of a SWC session? A: the couple of days in between the sort being released and camp starting. i love the energy everyone is just saying hi and talking about what they're excited for it's so great! Q: What's a song that describes SWC or a cabin you've been in? A: hmm there are a lot of songs i associate with swc but idk if they describe it yellow by coldplay Q: Have you convinced an irl friend to join SWC yet? A: mmm we didn't really have themes in any of the sessions i actually participated in? i did like all the green themed sessions when alba and birdi were hosting and that was just what they used in thumbnails Q: Favorite SWC mascot? (yours or someone else's) A: i'm a big fan of nights' essay about mayonnaise Q: Favorite Weekly? A: ok so i used to love the wicked word crawl but i'm so glad we don't do word crawls anymore. but i love that one bc nostalgia. in terms of actual favorite weekly i was a big fan of the host themed one awhile ago that had all the pretty pixel art bc we (the daily team) worked so hard on that and i'm so happy with how it turned out. uhh also the candles one was really good in march 2021 Q: Favorite In-cabin activity? A: i feel like we had a cool one in poem in march 2021 but i don't remember it Q: What advice would you give to new swc-ers? A: if an activity doesn't inspire you and you have other writing you would rather be working on, work on your personal project not the activity oh and advice for less-new swcers: write your answers for your leader app before you do your theme, bc then if you run out of time you have answers and can do a simple theme (slideshows are completely acceptable) Q: Favorite application idea you've seen? A: i don't remember. of my own though i like the tree one (i love redwoods so much). i also really like simple themes like slideshows like cara's bridge themed app was cool Q: What inspired you to join SWC? A: i was an aspiring author at the time Q: Your favorite piece you've written in SWC? A: mmmm i wrote a several thousand word swc fanfic for a daily in july 2022 that i was super proud of. also i wrote an among us fanfic at one point? in terms of original fiction i also remember liking my july 2020 writing comp entry but i have no idea where it is Q: A suggestion for SWC? A: contemporary Q: What you like best about a cabin? (in cabin activity, leader quality, etc.) A: i feel like it's the most fun if your cabin is super active Q: Favorite Word wars prompt?
