He is trying to spell "zestful" by kidnapping, killing, and injuring the other letters. The reason why Z isn't the same is because the letters live on a circular planet that isn't a letter. I also wanted to give this lore a villain that is extremely original. There isn't a Q equivalent because Z cries out the question mark gem after he is defeated.
